Now that the TV show Chuck is at the end, I can finally admit something… I have never watched an episode.
I have hung out with these guys a few times at various events/parties. I don’t know Zach really well, but I can say I’ve watched him time after time always be on when it comes to fans. I’m not implying he is fake but I’ve never witnessed him being candid though he seems like a nice guy. When it comes to Joshua, that guy is truly a pretty interesting and down to Earth guy. Pre-Chuck, he actually did a bit of video game VO work. If I remember correctly, he was a bit of a jack of all voices in Call of Duty 2 among other things.
While it might sound silly, I just don’t like the idea of having something as silly as fame influence how I feel about a person or their work. I try very hard to make sure that I stick to my rule that no one person is better than another. I always felt like if I were to watch the show it would create a bias in me as well as make me more likely to discus the show. Maybe it makes it easier after watching person after person come up to them and ONLY want to talk about the show. It seems unfortunate that when someone does something that brings them fame, people overlook that they are more than just that.
That said, now I can start watching Chuck!
Re-blogging not only because I feel the exact same way about people and fame, but also because I think Ron is a pretty cool guy and sort of a celeb himself. Saying that, I would definitely not trust this pee’n into trash can trio.
